Chicken Tortilla Soup

Several people asked my mom to post the recipe for her soup she brought to the party. So here you go!

1 Rotisserie Chicken - skin and shred meat
Family Size Can Chicken & Rice
1 Can Ranch Beans (Pinto or kidney or favorite bean)
1 Can Ro-Tel - original, mild, or hot; depends on personal taste
1 Can Water (I used chicken broth)

Heat through. Serve with Tortilla Chips, Cheese, and Sour Cream.

  1. Seriously, this soup is so yummy! I made it just the other day and it turned out delicious! We even thought just having the 3 cans on hand would make a great food storage recipe even without the chicken or chips. Great flavor!!!

  2. I'm a fan of chicken tortilla soup, I'll have to give this a try. But...what is Ro-Tel? And what are ranch beans? Are they flavored a certain way?

  3. Ro-Tel and Ranch Beans are both kinds of canned beans you can buy at the grocery store. I didn't know what they were either, but since my mom explained it I've noticed them several times at the store.
