Nathan and Emily

Emily and Nathan's wedding day was just beautiful.

All of our family were able to be there. It was so fun to have everyone together.

David, Sharon, Stacy and Nicole came out from Utah to be with us.

Here is the whole group

Between the wedding and reception we took alittle time for family pictures. We haven't all been together since 2005 and there have been a few additions

These are our darling grandchildren.

.Saramarie did a beautiful job on the wedding cake

The cake was delicious

This is a fun German tradition. The bride and groom cut a heart out of a sheet with dull scissors. It was just a wonderful day.

Thanks Cricut Goo Roos!

So we are crafting, all on our own. I got a Cricut for Christmas and I figured out how to make shapes and use downloaded fonts ad it has unleashed Rachel! She finds an idea and we pick colors and paper, she sands and sometimes paints and I cricut! ( It's an adjective I just made up) Then we mod podge and we have a holiday craft. I think Laurie would be proud to see us crafting on our own... We just made this lucky sign with a sparkle clover.
A couple of weeks ago we made this True Love Sign. Seriously loving this Cricut and the Sure Cuts a Lot Program and the Inkscape studio (it's free) then I can make all my own shapes! Amber and Debbie and Sharon really helped so much with all oof the advice on a Cricut! I love it! We even made potato shapes and a cow for Acacia's school poster and little shapes for Zander's Valentine box!

Ottley Family Christmas Party

Rich and I got to be at the Ottley Christmas Party this year and it was wonderful. It was so good to see everyone there. The kids are growing up so fast. We counted 77 people there out of about 112. Wow!!! We missed all who were not there. Thanks so much to Don and Jana for hosting the evening. It was just so much fun.

This is a video of pictures we took throughout the evening. Some of the pictures are a little fuzzy but we sure had a good time.

Updated Family Photos

Our family finally took new family pictures this month.  Here's the one of my little family, and there are lots more over on my blog monkeytownmom.blogspot.com.

Kyle, Emma, Stacy, Leo

As a little update for those who don't read my blog, Emma is a little over four years old, and Leo will be three in two weeks.  Crazy!  We are thoroughly enjoying summer.  The kids can't get enough of water: backyard pools, water slides, splash parks, sprinklers, water balloons, etc., etc!

Emma will be starting preschool again in September and is incredibly excited for that.  She loves learning, especially anything science-y.  She is one chatty girl and will talk the ears off of anyone who will listen.   Leo has been working with Kids on the Move for the last year.  He has a speech delay and some developmental delays, and we're fairly convinced that he is on the autism spectrum.  He is one little ball of energy and has a fun sense of humor.  He will graduate out of Kids on the Move when he turns three and then will start preschool with the school district in September.  He's made so much progress this last year, and we're looking forward to the next year.  They're fun kids and definitely keep us on our toes!

James' Blog

Hi!  I figured I'd post this... We've unrestricted our Blog so everyone can view it.  James does pretty much all the bloging because he's the 'creative' writter and after his posts how can I compete?
